Utah State Capitol

The Utah State Capitol building is a popular photography location for bridals, formals, engagements, and family photos! The state capitol is beautiful year-round but is most famous for its seasonal cherry blossoms during a 1-2 week period each spring.


It is also a great location for cold, rainy, or snowy days since you can move inside for a portion of the photoshoot.

Fee & booking info: There is no fee for photography at the state capitol building and there is no need to make a reservation. There may be times the grounds or indoors are unavailable to the public (check the capitol's website for updates), but normally both the grounds and general areas in the building are open to the public.
